At last, we bring you our fifth full-length variety show program - your fifth opportunity to ride along aboard the space lounge - and this one's packed with excitement and delight.
To kick things, off, Zoë and Chris DECLINE this time to peruse Chris' gigantic stack of Ledger-Transcripts, instead opting to focus on the positive - the recent publication of our two new themed collections: SPIRITUS OPPIDUM (spiritual writing), and DEMIURGES AND DEMIGODS IN SPACE (science fiction and fantasy). We bring you an inside look not merely at the contents of these volumes (of which we are extremely proud) but also at a little bit of the sausage-making. And then we get to the ground-breaking news that had happened on the very day this episode was recorded (back in December): Chris has been restored as a member of the Peterbrough, NH Facebook Group. What fate awaits?
We then present an outstanding reading of "Jobber", which is featured in DEMIURGES AND DEMIGODS IN SPACE, done by author Jeffrey DeRego, who then JOINS US for an extended discussion of the writing process, the life process, and why all good NH writers start off in Massachusetts. Unbeknownst to Jeff, we'd also invited Dan Szczesny, M/U favorite, Underground Over the Air Alum, writer, and decades-long close friend of Jeff's to crash the party - that's the point things really get going (off the rails?). Hear how they teamed up to blow up a helpless writer's group - and many many other stories that will unquestionably serve to inspire writers and artists young and old.
